Creating a Custom Payment Page


Custom Payment Page

Payment pages can be created from the templates provided or you can choose to create a custom page. You can use them in many ways including as part of your shopping cart, as a pay now button, or as an integrated part of your billing system.

To begin creating a payment page click on Payment Page List under Payment Pages.payment pagesClick New Payment Page and New Custom Page.new payment pageYou are now able to fill in the following fields to complete the creation of your payment page.

Page Information

Name: The name of the payment page.
Active: Toggle the radio button to Yes for ACTIVE or No for INACTIVE.
Language: Select from enabled languages in your account settings (English by default).
Page Forwarding: The URL that the customer will be sent to upon approval or cancellation.
Approval Auto Forward: If enabled, the page will send customers to a URL.
Approval Send POST: If enabled, POST data from the transaction (Customer Name, Billing, Shipping Info, etc. but NOT CARD DATA) will be sent to the server hosting the Approval URL.
Approval URL: Enter in the desired Approval URL.
Cancel URL: Enter in the desired Cancellation URL.

Payment Page Settings

Transaction Settings
Transaction Type: Use the drop-down to select Card Purchase or Card Preauth.
Currency: Use the drop-down to select the enabled Currencies.
Terminal: Use the drop-down to select the Terminal.

Customer Settings
Allow Customer Login: Toggle the button On to allow the customer to log in with their User ID or continue as a Guest.
Force Customer Login: Toggle the button to On to require the customer to login.
Payment Terms: Toggle the button On to enable the selected terms to be displayed on the Payment Page. Payment Terms are also referred to as Merchant Policies and they can be edited in your Online Store Settings, learn more here.

Products Settings
Show On Page: Toggle the radio button to Yes or No.

Only to be used if products are being attached to the Payment Page with the Buy Button Generator.




Allow Editing: Toggle the radio button to Yes or No. Allows you to edit of the number of products attached to the payment page.
Calculate Taxes: Toggle the radio button to Yes or No. Calculates taxes based on either the location of the customer or the merchant terminal location. See Tax Location drop-down at bottom of this list.
Calculate Shipping: Toggle the radio button to Yes or No. Calculates the shipping based on the shipping information entered by the Customer.
Calculate Total: Toggle the radio button to Yes or No. Calculates the total based on quantity, taxes, and shipping.
Allow Discount Codes: Toggle the radio button to Yes or No to enable a field for the customer to enter Discount Codes.
Tax Location: Use the drop-down to select either Customer for taxes based on the Customer location or Merchant Terminal for taxes based on the Merchant Terminal location.
payment page settingsOnce all the settings have been entered click on Save. Your payment page will now be listed on the Payment Page List under Payment Pages, return to this landing page to view the an overview of your newly created payment page.
payment pagesIf you want to see the Payment Page URL you will be find it on the Payment Page List page, it will be listed in the far right-hand column for each payment page you have created.
