Important notes about ACH refunds
It’s best to wait 3 to 5 business days after the ACH batch settles before issuing a refund. This allows the transaction to fully deposit into your account.
After the batch settles, expect a typical timeline of 5 to 10 business days for the ACH refund to complete.
ACH refunds are for the full amount of the original transaction. Partial ACH refunds are not currently supported.
To minimize the risk of an ACH return (similar to a chargeback, where the customer's bank rejects the payment after it has been processed), please review our guide on ACH payment returns.
