American Express

Canadian Merchants

Merchants who are already accepting American Express can provide their Amex Merchant ID upon signup. Your American Express Merchant ID will remain the same, and Helcim will simply take over the role of authorizing your American Express payments. For merchants new to American Express, if you process less than $500,000 per year in American Express transactions, we will provide you with an American Express merchant ID by automatically enrolling you in the AmEx OptBlue program. Please note that some industries do not qualify for the Amex OptBlue registration and need to sign up with Amex directly. For further details please visit our Canadian American Express page.
