Customize your transaction list columns
Your Helcim dashboard allows you to personalize the columns displayed in your transaction list. This means you can choose to see more or fewer details at a glance, focusing on the information most relevant to your workflow.

To customize which columns are displayed:
Click the Column settings icon
(represented by the three horizontal slider lines) at the far right of the table headers.Select or de-select the columns you would like to view, such as Status, Type, User, Contact Name, Business Name, Card Type, Cardholder Name, Batch no, etc.

Search for a transaction
Finding a specific transaction among many can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, but with Helcim's search options, it's a breeze! You can quickly narrow down your results using the search bar.
To quickly search for a transaction:
Use the search bar to find transactions by customer name, cardholder name, amount, or the last 4 digits of the card number used. If a transaction matches your criteria, it will appear in the transactions list below.

Filtering your transactions list
Finding a specific transaction in a sea of daily sales shouldn't require a computer science degree. We’ve designed our dashboard filters to help you slice and dice your transaction history quickly, so you can get the exact information you need in just a few clicks.
At the top of your Transactions list, you will find five straightforward filter buttons:

Date: Click this button to narrow down your list to a specific day, week, month, or custom date range. It is the fastest way to pull up yesterday's sales or review transactions from a past weekend.
Status: Use this dropdown to sort transactions by their current state. You can filter for Successful payments, pending holds, or quickly isolate Declined transactions to review human-readable error details.
Method: This filter lets you sort transactions by how your customers paid. Instantly separate your credit card sales from bank payments (ACH) or other tender types.
User: If you have team members running transactions, use this dropdown to filter sales processed by a specific staff profile—perfect for balancing individual shift registers.
All filters: Need to get highly specific? Click the All filters button (represented by the three stacked horizontal filter lines) to combine multiple search criteria at once and pinpoint exactly what you are looking for.
