    We test and fully support the Helcim Payments Application and hardware on devices that use the following versions of Windows, Apple, and Android operating systems.

    Where an operating system is no longer current or a device no longer supports upgrades to the current operating system, then we endeavor to ensure all changes made to the Helcim Payments Application or hardware are backwards compatible. 


    On devices that do not support the most recent operating systems, we are unable to guarantee that the Helcim Payments Application or hardware will be free of defects or that support of these devices and operating system versions will be ongoing in perpetuity.

    Space Requirements

    Approximate space requirements for the Helcim Payments Application for different device types can be found below. Helcim will make regular updates to our Payments Application across different devices types that may cause variance from the approximations provided below.

    Network Requirements

    We recommend a minimum internet speed of 10-15 Mbps to download and use the Helcim app. If you have multiple devices running on the same network, you may need to increase your internet speed above this recommended amount for the best experience.

    Incompatible Devices

    Please note that the Helcim Payments App is not currently compatible with the following devices:

    • LG L322DL devices

    • Chromebook’s

    • Windows devices running Windows 7 or 8
