The Helcim Card Reader works in partnership with the Helcim Payments app. You will need to download the Helcim app onto your preferred device to begin accepting payments. There are two ways to find and download the Helcim Payments App for your tablet or smartphone device.
Workstation
To download the app to your laptop or desktop computer begin by logging into your Helcim account through your browser as usual.
You can find the app by clicking on App and Download on the left-hand side of your screen once you are logged in.
Now, you can select the version of the app you want to download. The tabs at the top of the screen allow you to review the available options for Desktop Version, Tablet Version, and Smartphone Version.
To download the Helcim Payments app for your computer, click on the Download App button under Desktop Version.

Open the application that has downloaded to your device and follow the installation instructions.
Once the Helcim Payments app has finished downloading, it should appear on your desktop. Double click on the app to open it.
Download for Windows:
After clicking 'Download for Windows' a file will install, double click on the file to open it
This will open a file in your file explorer
Double click the 'Helcim' file to open the Helcim app explorer
From this window, click 'Install', once the installation is complete, the app will be fully installed on your device. You can find it by search using the search in the bottom left of your screen.
Download for Mac:
After clicking 'Download for Mac, a file will install
Double clicking on this will open Mac Finder
Once at this screen, click and drag in the Helcim app file into the Applications folder
Once the file has moved to the Applications folder, open the folder and double click the Helcim App to open it.
Tablet or Mobile Phone
Download through Helcim Account
You can find the download file by logging into your Helcim Account and clicking on App and Download.
Once you're on the page, click on Tablet Version or Smartphone Version to select the version of the app that you want to download.
You can now select either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by clicking the buttons on the bottom of the page to visit the app store and download the Helcim Payments app.
Download through your Device's App Store
Tablet / Mobile Phone
You can find the app in your device's app store or marketplace. If you're using an Android device, open the Google Play Store. If you are using an Apple device, open up the Apple App Store.
Next, search for the Helcim Payments app. The app will have the Helcim logo as the profile image. Click on the app.
Click on Get or Install to add the app to your device. Once the Helcim Payments app has finished downloading, it should appear on either your home screen or the secondary screen of your device. Or click on Open in your app store to access the device.
