The Helcim POS app is your gateway to processing payments, managing your sales, and running your business efficiently. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to download the app on your preferred device.

Downloading the app for your desktop or laptop
To download the Helcim POS app on your desktop or laptop:
Start by logging into your Helcim account through your web browser.
Once you're logged in, select All Tools, then App Devices
You'll see tabs at the top of the screen for different device versions: Desktop Version, Tablet Version, and Smartphone Version.
Click the Download App button under Desktop Version.

Download for Windows
After clicking Download for Windows, a file will download. Double-click this file to open it.
This will open a window in your file explorer.
Double-click the Helcim file within that window.
Click Install. Once the installation is complete, you can find the Helcim app by searching in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Download for Mac
After clicking Download for Mac, a file will download.
Double-clicking this file will open Mac Finder.
Click the Helcim app file and drag it into the Applications folder.
Once the file has moved, open the Applications folder and double-click the Helcim app to open it.
Downloading the app for your tablet or mobile phone
To download the Helcim POS app on your tablet or mobile phone:
You can either:
Log in to your Helcim account through a web browser and click on App and Download. Then, select the Tablet Version or Smartphone Version tab. You'll then see buttons to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Or, you can open the Apple App Store (for Apple devices) or the Google Play Store (for Android devices) directly on your device.
Search for Helcim: Point of Sale. The app icon will display the Helcim logo.
Tap Get or Install to download and install the app.
Once the app is installed, it should appear on your home screen or app list. You can also tap Open in the app store to launch it.

To ensure the best experience, the Helcim POS app and hardware are tested and fully supported on devices that meet the following operating system requirements:
Desktop
Apple / Mac: 10.13 or higher
Windows / Android: Windows 11 - 64 bit, Windows 10 - 64 bit
Tablet
Apple / Mac: iPad OS 16.0 or higher
Windows / Android: Android 10.0 or higher
Smartphones / Mobile Devices
Apple / Mac: iOS 16.0 or higher
Windows / Android: Android 10.0 or higher
While we strive for backward compatibility, we cannot guarantee optimal performance or ongoing support for devices and operating systems that don't meet these requirements.
Space Requirements
The Helcim Payments app requires the following approximate storage space:
Desktop: 500MB
Tablet: 8.5MB
Smartphones / Mobile Devices: 8.5MB
Please note that these are approximate values and may vary slightly.
Network Requirements
For a smooth experience, we recommend an internet speed of at least 10-15 Mbps. If you're using multiple devices on the same network, you may need a higher internet speed.
Incompatible Devices
The Helcim Payments app is currently not compatible with:

Chromebooks
