Sharing your payment page

Before your customer can begin the payment process, you'll need to provide them with access to the payment page. Helcim provides several options for sharing your payment page with customers.

Click on a payment page and then the Results tab. There, you’ll see the following options.

Share the link: You can copy the unique link for your payment page and share it with your customers via email, invoices, or other communication channels.

Use a QR code: Helcim can generate a QR code for your payment page, which customers can scan with their smartphones. This is particularly useful for in-person transactions or printed materials.

Add to your website: You can add a ‘Pay now’ button to your website that leads to the payment page using the provided HTML code.

Customer payment process

Once your customer has accessed the payment page, here's how the payment process unfolds:

  1. The customer accesses the payment page: They do this by clicking on the link, scanning the QR code, or clicking the ‘Pay now’ button on your website.

  2. The customer fills out the page: They fill in the required fields on the payment page, such as their name, email, and any other requested information.

  3. The customer enters payment information: They provide their card details for a credit card payment or bank account information for an ACH payment.

  4. The customer submits payment: They click the Pay to initiate the transaction.

  5. Helcim securely processes the transaction: Helcim's secure system receives the payment information and processes the transaction. This involves verifying the customer's payment details and authorizing the payment.

  6. Confirmation: The customer receives a confirmation message on the payment page, indicating whether the transaction was successful.

  7. Funds are transferred: If the transaction is approved, the funds are securely transferred to your bank account within the designated timelines.
