How to get started with Google Sign-In
There's no need to opt-in to Google Sign-In. You'll see the option to sign in with your Google account directly on your usual Helcim login screen.
Open your Helcim login screen on a web browser.
Click Continue with Google.
Enter your Google credentials. If you're already logged into your Google account on your device, you'll be automatically redirected to your Helcim Dashboard.
You're ready to go!
Important Note: Your Gmail address must match the verified email address on your Helcim account to use this feature. If you need to update the email associated with your Helcim account, you can do so in your Security Settings. Find out how in our article: Update your Helcim account email address |
Google Sign-In and two-factor authentication
When you log in to your Helcim account with Google Sign-In, it is considered a secure authentication method that fulfills the two-factor requirement on its own.
Because of this, using Google Sign-In to access your account will bypass any email or SMS verification codes you would normally be asked for. This means you won't be prompted for a separate 2FA code, providing a seamless yet secure login experience. |

Who can use Google Sign-In?
All Helcim merchants have access to this feature, provided their Gmail address matches the verified email on their Helcim account.
Can I link multiple Google user accounts to the same business?
Absolutely! If you have multiple employees on your Helcim merchant account team, each employee can link their Google account to their Helcim account. Just remember that any Google account you add must match the verified email(s) on your Helcim account.
We don't recommend this option on shared devices. You'll need to add your staff to your Helcim team using their Gmail in Helcim’s settings before they can use the Google Sign-In feature.
Can I continue using my traditional login?
Yes! Our goal is to provide you with more options to log in quickly and securely. If you prefer to use your Helcim login credentials, you can continue to do so. We still recommend enabling two-factor authentication to further improve your account security.
Can I log in to the Point of Sale app with Google Sign-In?
Unfortunately not. You can only log in to the Helcim POS app with your Helcim username and password or, for a more seamless experience, you can use a PIN login.
As POS systems are often used on a shared device, we advise against using personal credentials to log in to these devices.
