FAQs
What's the difference between 'Device Type' and 'Merchant Account Terminal'?
The Device Type indicates the kind of hardware (like an iPhone, workstation, or Smart Terminal) that has the Helcim POS app installed on it. The Merchant Account Terminal is an internal label in your Helcim account that helps organize and track transactions from that specific device, especially useful if you have multiple locations or ways of processing.
Can I use the same Helcim POS app device for multiple businesses?
No, a single Helcim POS app device is typically linked to one Helcim account and business at a time. If you operate multiple businesses, you would need separate accounts or devices for each.
